We constantly monitor our competitors pricing and make adjustments so that we stay at about the average price. We are not the cheapest, but we are not the most expensive either. Obtaining and maintaining a Master Home Inspector Certification is a costly endeavor, so staying about in the middle of the cost range is fair to everyone. Call for current pricing today. Also, don’t be mislead by some of my competitors that charge by the square foot. It sounds like a good deal at first, but often when they get there they tell you there is an extra fee for a crawl space, attic, garage, pool, travel, etc. These are all included in my base fee.
We do charge a small additional fee for radon or mold testing services, same as our competitors. This is due to the added costs of these services. The cost of the test kit, expedited lab processing, Fed Ex over night fees and so on make up most of this addition cost. We charge $175 extra for either radon or mold testing along with the normal inspection fee. We can arrange for water quality testing on wells if needed also at an additional cost.
Unlike my competitors, I do not charge extra for a crawl space, garage, attic, or detached building. I do not charge extra for travel distance. I also do the termite inspection as part of my base fee. If you need a termite clearance letter, I can arrange for a termite company to be there at the time of inspection. They do charge a small fee for the letter.
I accept cash and checks. Payment is due at the time of inspection unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
